You will also be expected to share your idea at the last page. Please only submit it if you are serious about Pitching the idea!

<aside> 2️⃣ Find Team members for your Pitch:

• Join us every other Tuesday for our Community Fortnightly Meeting (virtual) and share your ideas and thoughts with our attending members
• Ping on our Slack channels.
• Find people in our Members directory (https://better.sg/directory/ (pw tech4good)) and send them an email!
• Your project team should recruit new members to join the team after your Pitch, so don’t worry if your initial Pitch team lacks some skills or experience. </aside>

Pitch Day Schedule

~~Community Fortnightly Meetings will happen every other Tuesday night starting from July 4, 2023. The purpose of these virtual meetings is for sharing your ideas and/or work on your current projects. You should take the opportunity to meet new like-minded people, form groups, and huddle together to work on your project(s).~~

Project Pitch & Demo Day is scheduled to happen every 6 months. During this event, your team should pitch the idea in person.

The upcoming Project Pitch and Demo Day will be slated to happen on 30 Jan 2024

Pitch Expectations

Here are some of the expectations of starting a project with us:

• You should form a starting core team with at least 3 people before pitch day. Preferably the skills should include Product Management, Design, Development, and ideally someone with Domain Expertise of the problem space. You may change any of your core team members if necessary later on.
• When pitching your project or idea at Project Pitch & Demo Day, you are expected to do so IN PERSON. However, if you/your core teammates cannot make it for that day though, you can still submit a video instead. Priority will however be given to those who are pitching in person.
  • Your project pitch should cover the problem statement (and the target users) you wish to address, a possible idea for a solution, and your desired outcomes.
  • As an optional guide, you can consider using a design sprint to guide your team towards the pitch.
  • Here is a simple two-slide pitch deck for Grave Matters. You can use any template that you wish, but your pitch must be less than 5-7 minutes.
