1. Learn more about the Project

Background

• We've built a web-based mobile narrative game that helps young people in Singapore learn about the challenges of people with different from themselves and be more empathetic towards others.
• In Dec 2020, the starter team (Gaurav, Desiree, Axelle) pitched the project in a MCCY hackathon called 'StartupX Mission Unite' and won $50k funding

• Please play the game first before volunteering!

Our Goals

• Main goal: Increase the empathy young people have for those different from themselves
  • We are measuring how many people play the game, and how much impact it has on their views regarding others.

Our Timeline

• Phase 1 was launched on 21 Jul 2021, with the first chapter from two characters: Nadia and Aman.
• Phase 2 will be released progressively from late Aug onwards, with the remaining 4 characters: Zhihao, Marie, Ravi, Unaisah.
  • The pace of release will likely be weekly, with about 1 new chapter from a character every week.
• We will conduct social media conversations weekly around the themes from that new chapter / character.
