Title: Project Manager

Role Overview

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in Better.sg’s Volunteer Tech Officer (VTO) programme, a flagship initiative designed to drive meaningful digital transformation within the social impact sector.

In this volunteer position, you will work closely with social impact organizations (i.e. ground-up initiatives, non-profits, charities, social enterprises) to evaluate their digital needs, define project scopes, and lead a team of skilled volunteers to deliver impactful, tailored solutions. Your efforts will empower social impact organizations to leverage technology effectively, enhancing their operational efficiency and scaling their impact.

Time Commitment:

This is a temporary volunteer position with a flexible time commitment. We estimate the engagement will require approximately 1 to 3 months, with the option to extend it further depending on your interest.

Key Responsibilities

Project Scoping and Planning

• Collaborate with social impact organizations to understand their challenges and opportunities for digital transformation.
• Define the scope of projects, desired outcomes, and deliverables tailored to organizational needs.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement and Volunteer Management

• Build strong relationships with social impact organizations, understanding their mission, operations, and impact areas.
• Facilitate regular check-ins with social impact organizations and volunteers to ensure progress and address challenges.
• Act as the primary point of contact for social impact organizations and volunteers throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Management and Monitoring

• Oversee project implementation, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
• Track project progress and ensure deliverables are of high quality and aligned with agreed outcomes.
